Mall of America

Wednesday morning all the wives decided we should pack up the kids and head to Minneapolis to visit Mall of America.

Boston, Makyla, and Beckham sandwiched in the back of the truck for our trip.

The first day we got there we went to the Nickolodeon Theme Park and Lego Land in the mall. Boston loved it! Beckham was so tired he just enjoyed watching Boston from his stroller... oh and I miss my double stroller back at home- Boston had to walk the whole time the first day. But luckily when we went back the 2nd day, I borrowed Ruth's double stroller so I could go shopping.
Lego Land is amazing (I can't believe what they can build with Legos) and the kids enjoyed playing with the Legos. The motorcycle picture is for my brother Blake because Boston said 'Look, Blakey!'

Helga spotted this beauty when we were driving in Downtown Minneapolis. Nothing like a mini van covered in artificial grass. Check out that peace sign in the front yard... talk about hippies!

We stopped at a cute little bakery called Yum! and had some cupcakes

(Boston insisted on having the pink one. I think hanging out with girls all the time is scaring Nick! Oh and Boston really wants a Dora birthday cake... what?!)

We had a great time on our trip and it made the week without Nick go much quicker. I'm thinking that I need to leave the kids home next time and go by myself to do some real shopping! (Anyone want to fly up and join me?)

I love the pictures, it looks like you are having a great time and making lots of memories with your boys. Lego land looks like a boys paradise! How fun to move away and experience a new place.
